On April 11, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama, 40-year-old Nakita Chantryce Davidson was involved in a two-vehicle collision near Elmwood Cemetery. Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered evidence suggesting a possible assault or shooting, but neither driver was present. Investigators believed that Davidson had been forcibly taken from the scene, initiating a kidnapping investigation.
