On April 6, 2024, Damien Antonio Minard, 43, was fatally shot in Midfield, Alabama. The incident occurred on Woodward Road, where Minard was walking when he was struck by gunfire. At approximately 2:01 AM, deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunshots in the area. Upon their arrival, Minard was found on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
