In the winter of 2020, the community of Midfield, Alabama, was unsettled by a violent act that claimed the lives of two young people. On the evening of December 3rd, 20-year-old Makiel Daveon Norwood, a male, and 19-year-old Ti'Teauna Antunya Riggs were found shot to death in what authorities have described as a double homicide.
