On December 2, 2020, at approximately 7:24 PM, officers from the Midfield Police Department responded to multiple reports of gunfire in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue in Midfield, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 20-year-old Makiel Daveon Norwood in the brush along the roadside.
