In the early hours of a March morning in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 47-year-old Roderick Walker, a Black male, was cut short by gunfire. The incident occurred on March 8, 2024, inside an apartment in the Ensley neighborhood. According to police reports, officers responded to a call and found Walker suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
