On the evening of October 24, 2024, 44-year-old Tavares Deone Moore was fatally shot in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident occurred just before 9:00 p.m. in the 2900 block of 9th Avenue North. Upon arrival, officers found Moore with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:40 p.m.
