On a Friday afternoon in Birmingham, Alabama, 38-year-old Kevin McGhee was among four men whose lives were cut short in a hail of gunfire. The incident, which occurred on February 16, 2024, unfolded at a neighborhood car wash in the Smithfield community. McGhee, along with his cousin Terrell Edwards, 38, Cortez Ray, 32, and Talton 'TJ' Tate, 36, were all victims of what police described as a targeted drive-by shooting.
