On February 16, 2024, Kevin McGhee, 38, was among four men fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. near the 900 block of Center Street North, close to Legion Field Stadium. McGhee and the other victims—Terrell Edwards, 38; Cortez Ray, 32; and Talton Tait, 36—were at a neighborhood car wash when an unknown assailant opened fire.
