On November 27, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m., 52-year-old Reginald Bryant was fatally shot in the 500 block of Closhire Lane in Birmingham, Alabama. West Precinct officers responded to reports of shots fired and discovered Bryant lying unresponsive in the backyard of a residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
