On March 29, 2023, at approximately 2:30 a.m., 16-year-old Jada White was fatally shot in the 3000 block of Avenue F in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding officers discovered her unresponsive on the sidewalk, suffering from a gunshot wound, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. A second juvenile female nearby sustained a graze wound and received medical treatment.
