In the late summer of 2023, the life of Larry Douglas Oden, a 49-year-old Caucasian male from Gardendale, Alabama, came to a tragic end. His death on August 21, 2023, was the result of a blunt force injury to his head, an injury he sustained seventeen days earlier during an encounter with law enforcement.
