Death by Force

On May 15, 2023, investigators from the Anniston Police Department responded to the 2600 block of Noble Street following reports of possible human remains. At the scene, they discovered a human skull, which was subsequently sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Huntsville for analysis. Through DNA testing, the remains were identified as those of 36-year-old Miya Shavone Marshall, who had been reported missing on September 8, 2022.
