On August 14, 2022, in Chalkville, Alabama, 29-year-old D'Andrei Stepfon Freeman was fatally shot during a domestic dispute with his father, 50-year-old Henry Edward Freeman. The incident occurred at their residence on Pebble Lake Circle, where an argument escalated, leading Henry to pursue D'Andrei and another individual away from the home and back again.
