In the early evening of Sunday, October 13, 2019, the life of 21-year-old Benjamin Elio Gonzalez was tragically cut short in Center Point, Alabama. Just before 7 p.m., deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office were called to the 1800 block of Martinique Drive following reports of gunfire in the residential area. Upon their arrival, they discovered Gonzalez, a male victim, who had succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
