On October 13, 2019, 21-year-old Benjamin Elio Gonzalez was fatally shot during a home invasion in Center Point, Alabama. At approximately 6:57 p.m., Jefferson County deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 1800 block of Martinique Drive N.E., where they discovered Gonzalez deceased at the scene.
