On August 24, 2021, at approximately 4:09 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot at 1121 Princeton Avenue Southwest. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Bryce Landrus Berry lying on the ground next to his vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
