Gregory Hambric, 64, was shot and killed by law enforcement officers on June 10, 2021, in Boldo, Alabama, after Walker County deputies responded to reports of an active shooter. The incident reportedly began when Hambric fired a gun at a family member, leading his wife to call 911. Deputies arrived on the scene around 8:30 p.m., where a confrontation occurred, resulting in the fatal shooting of Hambric by a deputy. No deputies were injured during the altercation.
