On February 16, 2022, 62-year-old Alton Kent Johnson was fatally shot in Odenville, Alabama. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies responded to a shooting incident on Hearthstone Drive around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Johnson had been shot following an altercation with a juvenile male.
