On August 31, 2021, 43-year-old Tracy Lee Killingsworth was fatally shot in Pelham, Alabama. The incident occurred in the 700 block of County Road 72 around 1:30 p.m. Pelham Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots and discovered Killingsworth deceased at the scene. A woman, whose identity was withheld for privacy, was also shot and critically injured; she managed to seek help at a neighbor's house and was hospitalized.
