On a summer morning in Pelham, Alabama, the life of 32-year-old Lee Michael Holdbrooks was violently cut short. On August 5, 1999, a co-worker named Alan Eugene Miller, a delivery truck driver, arrived at their workplace, Ferguson Enterprises, and began a shooting spree. Holdbrooks was the first person Miller encountered. After an exchange of words, Miller shot Holdbrooks multiple times in the chest and head.
