On December 17, 2020, at approximately 10:47 p.m., Birmingham police officers responded to a shooting incident on the 4400 block of Carver Avenue in southwest Birmingham. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Kshune Dewayne Brown suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Brown was transported to UAB Hospital by Birmingham Fire and Rescue Services, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
