Any updates on this case?
On October 13, 2020, 40-year-old Joseph Scott Norris and 39-year-old Jacqueline Sims Newsome were found deceased in a residence at 445 29th Street Ensley in Birmingham, Alabama. The landlord, upon noticing an open door at the property, entered and discovered both individuals unresponsive in a bedroom, each suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Birmingham Police officers responded to the scene at approximately 11:41 p.m., and both victims were pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
