On October 27, 2020, 25-year-old Mondrelle Kellogg was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Center Street South. Upon arrival, officers found Kellogg unresponsive near his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman was also found with a gunshot wound and was transported to UAB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
