On June 7, 2020, 24-year-old Reginald Tyrone Martin Jr. was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. at a residence in the 800 block of 47th Street North. Upon arrival, officers found Martin unresponsive in the front doorway, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
