On March 10, 2020, one-year-old Jayden McGee of Birmingham, Alabama, succumbed to injuries sustained while under the care of his mother's boyfriend, 35-year-old Christopher Eugene Knight. The incident occurred on February 28, 2020, at the InTown Suites located at 1100 Huffman Road in the Killough Springs area. Jayden was transported to Children's Hospital with severe head trauma and was pronounced dead on March 10.
