On December 15, 2020, at approximately 9:00 p.m., 24-year-old Dusharme Mandell Jones was fatally shot inside his residence on the 1300 block of Fairfax Avenue in Bessemer, Alabama. Responding officers found Jones unresponsive, suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
