A routine Saturday morning in Bessemer, Alabama, took a grim turn when a wrecked vehicle was discovered on the corner of 15th Street North and Carolina Avenue. Inside, first responders found 20-year-old Saveon ThMarcus Washington unresponsive in the driver's seat. Initially, the scene appeared to be the tragic result of a single-car accident.
