On July 11, 2019, 49-year-old Monica Daniele Jackson was tragically killed in a head-on collision on Interstate 22 near Jasper, Alabama. The accident occurred around 1:50 a.m. when a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, driven by 25-year-old Michael Troy Majors of Bessemer, Alabama, was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes and collided with the Nissan Altima in which Jackson was a passenger.
