In December 2020, 23-year-old Summer Lashay Buzbee from Jasper, Alabama, was reported missing. She was last seen by her roommate on December 20, 2020. The Walker County Sheriff's Office, along with volunteers, conducted multiple searches in areas such as Williams Road and Old Russellville Road. During these searches, some of Buzbee's belongings were discovered, leading investigators to suspect foul play.
