Krystal Lynn Franklin, 33, was a woman from Jasper whose life ended in a burst of gunfire before dawn on November 15, 2021, in the Boldo area of Walker County. According to local reporting and law-enforcement accounts published afterward, she was outside a home on Benny Short Road around 1:20 a.m. when shots were fired in what investigators described as a drive-by shooting.
