On August 23, 2019, 14-year-old Dai'Jon J. Wynn was fatally shot in Tarrant, Alabama. The incident occurred around 4:57 p.m. at the Exxon gas station located at 1135 Pinson Valley Parkway. Wynn was seated in the front passenger seat of a Dodge Challenger parked near the store's entrance when a firearm discharged, striking him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
