On March 15, 2019, 56-year-old Ray Anthony Little was fatally stabbed at the Bibb County Correctional Facility in Brent, Alabama. The incident occurred within the prison premises, where Little was serving his sentence. Following the attack, fellow inmate Devarrieo Montez Shepherd was identified as the suspect and subsequently charged with Little's murder.
