On March 12, 2019, 27-year-old Quinton Ashaad Few was fatally stabbed at the Bibb County Correctional Facility in Brent, Alabama. Few, who was serving a 20-year sentence for a robbery conviction in Clay County, was assaulted by fellow inmate Terrence Griffin, aged 31. Griffin, already serving a life sentence for a 2011 murder conviction in Tuscaloosa County, was identified as the suspect in Few's death and faced a capital murder charge.
