Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies discovered Steven Wayne Williams, 43, on Tuesday night in Pinson.

Shortly before 10:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Cedar Mountain Road near Clay Palmerdale Road to investigate an abandoned pickup truck. Upon arrival, they found the truck running with the door open and Williams inside, who had sustained a gunshot wound.

At this time, no suspects have been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
