In the cold of a Milwaukee winter, a grim discovery was made on the evening of February 4, 2013. Edward Wyatt, a 58-year-old African-American man, was found lying on a snow-covered road in the 2700 block of N. 16th St. He had a significant three-inch cut on the top of his head, among other injuries, indicative of a severe beating. First responders rushed him to Froedtert Hospital for medical attention.
