On a Friday evening in Milwaukee, the life of a 54-year-old African-American man, Earl W. Potts, was tragically cut short. On March 21, 2014, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the sounds of gunfire echoed in the 1500 block of W. Orchard St. Inside an apartment building in the area, Potts was discovered suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
