On April 27, 2016, a fatal shooting occurred in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Prarie Kelly. The incident took place near the intersection of 68th and Florist around 6:30 p.m.

Prarie Kelly was seated in a vehicle when he was approached by a male suspect. An argument ensued between Kelly and the suspect, which escalated to the point where the suspect produced a handgun and shot Kelly. Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
