On October 13, 2016, 16-year-old Travon Overton was found dead in an alley on Milwaukee's west side. His body was discovered around 10:30 a.m. in the 200 block of North 38th Street, near West Park Hill Avenue. The body was found lodged between a garage and trash cans, with a visible bullet hole in the side of the garage.
