In the early summer of 2019, the life of Bernard Dudley, a 38-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On the evening of June 2nd, Dudley was discovered inside a car near the intersection of 28th Street and Meinecke Avenue, having been fatally shot. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, casting a somber shadow over the neighborhood.
