In the early hours of Sunday, May 25, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the morning quiet in a Milwaukee neighborhood, leaving one man dead and another wounded. The deceased was identified as Darryl Lamond Martin, a 48-year-old Black male from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The incident unfolded around 5:50 a.m. near the intersection of 35th Street and Florist Avenue.
