On the morning of March 1, 2023, a 15-year-old male named Jose Jay Monarrez was at his girlfriend's residence in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At approximately 10:13 a.m., he sustained life-threatening injuries from a shooting. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead shortly after the incident. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office later identified him as the victim.
