On a Wednesday morning in Milwaukee, the life of Eric D. Holloway, a 24-year-old African-American male, was tragically cut short. On October 26, 2016, at approximately 11:35 a.m., Holloway was inside a residence in the 4200 block of N. 51st Boulevard when he was fatally shot. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The violence of that morning was not limited to Holloway. A 27-year-old woman, who was also inside the residence at the time of the shooting, sustained serious injuries. She ...
