In the early hours of a grim Saturday in Milwaukee, the life of 18-year-old Nakwon J. Genous, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On May 31, 2025, around 5:00 a.m., violence erupted near the intersection of 41st Street and Glendale Avenue, resulting in a fatal shooting. First responders arrived at the scene to find Genous with life-threatening injuries. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
