In the early morning hours of a Wednesday in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of Luis Alberto-Ortega was tragically cut short. On October 1, 2014, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 4100 block of East 6th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 35-year-old Luis Alberto-Ortega on the front porch of his residence. He had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
