In the early evening of July 12, 2023, Norman Johnale Kibble, a 20-year-old Black / African American man, was fatally shot in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident drew attention to the persistent issue of gun violence within the city. Police were summoned to the scene by reports of gunfire and, upon their arrival, discovered Kibble suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced him dead shortly after they arrived.
