On February 23, 2017, 14-year-old Chrisima Murry was fatally shot in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident occurred near the intersection of 50th and Fairmount, where police reported that Chrisima was shot during a physical altercation on the street.

The investigation into her death was ongoing for over a year and a half before any arrests were made. In September 2018, authorities announced the arrest of 25-year-old Lazar Tucker, who was accused of targeting Chrisima.
