On a Sunday morning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October 29, 2017, a young Black/African American man named Darrius Rose, aged 26, was inside his vehicle near the intersection of Teutonia and Silver Spring Drive. At approximately 9:00 a.m., occupants of another vehicle drove by and opened fire, striking Rose. The assailants then quickly fled the scene.
