Damon Bates, a 49-year-old man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was fatally shot on October 21, 2024. He was discovered around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of 37th and Clarke Streets. Authorities reported that Bates had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after emergency responders arrived.
