Nassar Buford, a 20-year-old resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was fatally shot on April 5, 2021. His death was part of a broader investigation into the activities of the Wild 100s gang, a notorious street gang involved in various criminal activities, including fraudulent COVID-19 relief schemes. Federal prosecutors revealed that the leader of the Wild 100s gang had posted an online solicitation to kill Buford, which ultimately led to his tragic death.
