In the autumn of 2015, the life of J'rome D. Hood, a 25-year-old Black man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of October 14, 2015, Hood was fatally shot outside a residence in the 5500 block of North 35th Street.
