Rainier Sheridan, a 36-year-old African-American man, was fatally shot on the evening of February 16, 2017, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident occurred behind his home on the 4400 block of North 64th Street. Sheridan was getting something out of a car in his backyard when he was struck by multiple gunshot wounds. Despite his injuries, he was able to make it back into his house. He was then transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that same day.
