In the afternoon hours of June 4, 2018, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Milwaukee neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Malcolm E. Miller, a 24-year-old Black/African American male, was fatally shot on the west side of the city, in the 3700 block of W. Galena Street. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m., and despite the prompt response of law enforcement, Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
