On the morning of May 3, 2023, Michael Paul Schraven, a 40-year-old Caucasian male, was driving in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his wife when their vehicle was fired upon. The shooting occurred around 8:58 a.m. on the on-ramp to I-45 southbound at Silver Spring Drive. The shots, believed to have come from another vehicle, struck Schraven. His wife, who was in the passenger seat, was not physically harmed.
